This world is in peril.
But it’s not your fault.
Darkness and monsters creep around every corner,
Illuminated under the light of the moon.The moon goddess Selene saw this injustice and invoked the power of an old friend.
With the help of the Rabbit of the moon she offered her blood and tears to its Mortar and Pestle, as the rabbit worked to create new life.Done with his work the rabbit sent this life to earth in a large crystallised tear to protect it.
It grew and incubated on earth until one day the crystal shattered.Waking in this new world, Part Rabbit, Part Goddess, Part Human, all magic.With her mission to light the world out of darkness she took to her job with haste. By day, she worked hard as a idol to spread cheer and smiles among the world but as soon as Twilight rolls around and the moon sheds its light on the evils of this world, she transforms.
Using the powers inherited by her blood mother, she becomes Usagi the Magical Girl, Defender of the Twilight.Fighting Evil and Spreading cheer as her two main missions, Usagi must keep fighting for the good of everyone!
